"Actor Pat Morita, whose portrayal of the wise and dry-witted Mr. Miyagi in "The Karate Kid" earned him an Oscar nomination, has died. He was 73."

Admit it. When you were a kid, you wanted Mr. Miyagi to teach you karate. You wanted an old Japanese guy to play with. You wanted to 'sand-ah the floo-ar'. I know the dude was old, but this still kinda shocked me when I heard about it.

Sayonara, Pat Morita. Rest In Piece.
